About

I am a 39 year old married man that has always loved to write. I was a comic book addict in my youth, as well as a rabid/avid role-player. I have run pretty much all the games out there, but my favorites include: Dungeons and Dragons (hated everything after 3.5), Marvel Superheroes (my best friend and I once ran a battle Wolverine vs. Sabretooth in the Empire State Building for about 3 hours), Vampire, Robotech.

I have been writing as a hobby since high school, and have recently decided to turn that hobby into a career. I have been published in small fanzines and websites in the past. My first award came in high school for my soliloquy entitled “Fractured” featuring my favorite mythological creature Medusa. My poem Reflections won an award in 2004.  My passion however is in story telling. My preferred genre is fantasy, however I have written short stories in several categories, including horror, mystery, and erotica.

I am currently hard at work at several projects. I have my first novel from my A Darkness Rising series entitled “The Fallen” nearly finished. A sequel is already forming. I am also working on an anthology of stories set in the same setting. I am also working on a dark superhero series set in a setting called “Day of Ashes”. This is not a typical comic book feel. I have also been approached to write an erotica series. This particular “deal” is still in talking phases. I will post any updates as it happens.

This site is broken into 2 sections:

• Tales from the Void – contains free reads: sample chapters, a complete short story entitled “Dark Harvest”, as well as a short story in progress called “Tale of a Minor Chord.
• Plucked from the Ether – contains random thoughts and goings on in my life.
